What stood out to me on Monika and TJ’s wedding day was how beautifully they had built their wedding day around their family’s history. It was held on TJ’s parents property, in the gorgeous Gold Coast hinterland, where months and months of hard work in the lead up had been put into clearing and tidying up (long grass, tree debris, machinery, snakes be gone, oh and coordinating cow poo free zones - impressive and appreciated)!! Monika carried her Mum’s cross necklace around her bouquet and probably my favourite part - the wedding car was TJ’s grandparents old Landrover Defender, complete with a picture of them sweetly stuck inside as a surprise by his Mum.
On top of that TJ himself DIY’d the various stationery items and clever wooden signage you might spot!! Family and friends chipped in with the decorative flowers and with the making of the cake!! So many special little touches, it’s safe to say I could feel the love on this one!
