THE JOY OF ALBUMS 

Albums are the BOMB, and not just in a cool kinda way.. but in a 'cherish for the rest of your life' way. These beautiful pieces are what you will one day pass on to another generation within your family, woweeee! It will join the legacy your family has already built over the years. This is so significant to me, especially knowing how much joy I get from looking through my own grandparents and parents wedding albums!! I want to give that feeling to others!

Before I crept my way into the photography industry, I was a graphic designer, so this is where my passion for printed images and books stems from. Nothing makes me happier once a collection is complete, than to design an album showcasing it. Hand on heart no one will take better care selecting the hero images to sit alongside each other in a carefully curated and beautiful design, nerdy.. but this is just my jam!

I understand these days there are so many options available for DIY albums online but ask yourself - will you truly have the time/patience/skill to make a beautiful and quality album? One that reflects this occasion and what you invested into having such special photos taken. When I got married I knew without a doubt that I was going to treat myself and order the album through our photographers (practicing what I preach)! It’s an extension of their story telling skills. They created this magical collection of photos with a certain eye, who better than to put that into an album that tells the story. The second factor was time, booking it in meant I was guaranteeing us an album in our hands following the wedding. Life in general is busy, so committing time to sit down and do it yourself can be unrealistic for a lot of people. Whereas for photographers it's simply part of the workflow of the job.
